I have never worked with another contractor who actually does what he says he will do. Michael went well beyond our hopes. Our project was done while we were at our home in Costa Rica.
When Helga and I came back in the spring, everything was "picture perfect" — constructed, finished, and not even so much as a piece of sawdust or a gum wrapper anywhere on the property. Not only done perfectly, but spotless when he delivered the house back to us.
I am very careful about recommending people, but I will recommend Boreal Woodworking to anyone with complete confidence I have done a favor to the person who asked.

Sue and Wayne's Story
Wayne and I chose Boreal Woodworking for two reasons.
- Boreal Woodworking's reputation for fine craftsmanship is widely known in our town.
- Mike and I had both worked for the same organization and although his tenure predated mine, his reputation of honesty, fairness and upstanding moral character endured.
Wayne and I acted as our own architects for our project, as a result not all our design decisions were "cast in stone." Mike was able to coach us in quite a few areas, sometimes reigning in farfetched ideas, sometimes offering suggestions that were never considered, and even accepting ideas that were not to his personal preference but of obvious importance to us.
Once Boreal Woodworking was officially contracted it felt like the homebuilding project really took off. There were no big lags in construction, something was always happening. Of course there was an occasional day of inactivity, but nothing big, we never seemed to be waiting for some subcontractor to show up. The worksite was always busy and as a result the project seemed to grow into fruition and completion in no time.
